Welcome to the real world...

Yeah, Welcome back, Britt! She gets home this evening. I can't wait to talk to her and hang out with her next month! A year and a half sure brings a lot of change. She's got a sister in law to meet and a nephew to play with. Ah, I just am so excited. Love my little sis.
Now for random photos:

All of my tomatoes, peppers, squashes and cucumbers are in the ground. Ben helped me hook up the soaker hose and then cover everything with a weed cloth barrier.

Chase and I at the beach on Mother's day... it was a bit colder than we had expected : )

Chase playing at the beach, he loved the sand and kept trying to eat it.

My latest little project completed. I found a dark cork board and decided to do a spread of genealogy pictures from Ben's and my family along with little description of who, what and where.

Ah family...

Oliver found his way into a tissue box and although it's scary because we wouldn't want him to suffocate- its pretty funny too.

Hanging out with the fam in granny's new house (current residence of my mom as well)!

Chase working on something : )

Ben and Adam went skiing and so it was nice to see him when they came over before we headed off to a nagel dinner. My grandma wouldn't stop telling him how good looking he was...she's such an old flirt

Early mother's day with my mom- I knew she would love pictures of chase and a frame announcing that she has grandkids- even if she only currently has one.

Chase actually really likes taking baths in the sink...so cute.

Chase also enjoys dogs and walking around in just diapers and socks!

And finally my hair- this is before my mom began to cut (she kept saying opps and uh oh... things you should never say when you have scissors in your hands and are cutting up someones hair but it turned out great- I love it, perhaps next time I will go a little shorter)

My current hair cut as I pose with Granny!
I actually have more pictures of the wedding and the Nagel's but they are on my camera these all came from my moms camera and she sent me over 20 emails to get me all of the pictures she took because I forgot to put them on my flashdrive. Anyways, either check sarah's blog or be patient and there may come a time when I finally post the pictures but considering I never posted Chad and Michelle's I think we can reasonably say that I won't ever post Anna's or Statton's hope that doesn't disappoint anyone.
In other news and soon to follow with pictures and video, Chase has started two new things. He now sits up in bed when he wakes up or if he can't sleep and he crawls...its a pretty gimpy crawl/ push up thing he does but we are loving it and baby proofing all the time.
Mother's day was so nice. Ben and Chase each got me cards and a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers with pink tulle and other little purple flowers along with a york peppermint patty and a gift card to Joanns. My boys sure know me well! I love them, they are just the sweetest little guys. After Church we took a picnic and headed out to the beach. At our favorite park we saw a bald eagle and Chase tried out grass...at least he will touch it now. Then we headed out to the sandy beaches of cannon city and found us a nice spot and Chase reallllllllly liked the sand. He had it in his toes and hands and all over really. It was a lovely time and hard to leave in the end. I will try to post those pictures soon. Anyways, I really feel so blessed to have our little family, my boys make me so happy.

Have you ever?

Have you ever been in an accident-as in someone else hit you- while you were in your parked car in a ski resort parking lot? Well, I was today...now my #1 "to do" is to get it fixed before our trip out to Utah next weekend- WHAT A DRAG!!!!
